Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Training Specialist/Instructional Developer to support analysis, design, and development of Navy training products. The role is fully remote in the United States, with responsibilities spanning front-end instructional design, learning-objective development, scriptwriting, and storyboard creation in collaboration with Government SMEs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years relevant experience.
• Experience in instructional systems design, curriculum development or training development.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust access for Navy networks and training systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end instructional design activities with Government SMEs.
• Develop, map learning objectives to applicable training requirements.
• Write clear instructional scripts and create detailed storyboards.
• Ensure NAVEDTRA standards compliance and government requirements.
• Collaborate with multimedia and technical developers throughout the lifecycle.
• Validate content with SMEs and participate in reviews.
• Maintain traceability among source requirements, objectives, content, and assessments.
• Support production schedules and meet project milestones.
