Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Training Specialist/Instructional Developer to support analysis, design, and development of U.S. Navy training products. The role is fully remote and will serve as a bridge between government SMEs and multimedia developers to deliver NAVEDTRA-compliant content.

You will lead front-end instructional design, develop learning objectives, scripts, and storyboards, and ensure instructional material meets government requirements while coordinating with SMEs and technical staff.

Qualifications

• Clearance required: Secret.
• Experience in instructional systems design, curriculum or training development.
• Experience translating technical requirements into learning solutions.
• Strong scriptwriting and storyboard-development skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust access.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end instructional design activities with Government SMEs.
• Transform technical information into structured instructional content.
• Develop, map and write learning objectives and storyboards.
• Create scripts for interactive and web-based training.
• Coordinate with multimedia developers to meet NAVEDTRA standards.
• Review and revise materials based on SME and QA feedback.
• Ensure alignment with NAVEDTRA standards and government requirements.
• Organize content into learner-centered sequences.
