Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Training Specialist/Instructional Developer to support analysis, design, and development of Navy training products. The role is fully remote, with work aimed at aligning content with NAVEDTRA standards and government requirements.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Government SMEs to craft learning objectives, scripts, and detailed storyboards, ensuring instructional integrity across multimedia formats. A Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2–5 years of relevant training development experience.
• Experience translating technical information into instructional content.
• Strong writing and storyboard development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end instructional design activities with Government SMEs.
• Develop and map learning objectives to training requirements.
• Write instructional scripts for interactive and web-based training.
• Create detailed storyboards communicating content, interactions, and assessments.
• Ensure products meetNAVEDTRA standards and Government requirements.
• Coordinate with multimedia developers throughout the lifecycle.
