Job summary

IES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services. The Operations Trainer will train employees in IES Communications software systems and processes, conduct needs assessments, and develop training materials for classroom and eLearning.

Responsibilities include delivering sessions, providing refresher trainings, maintaining training standards, and traveling within the United States as needed to support operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED obligatory.
• Minimum 6+ years in an IES PMA or higher-level role.
• Knowledge of job costing, job planning, quality management and safety training.
• Proficient with IESOS, Spectrum, SharePoint, MS Office suite.
• Instructional design and adult learning theory preferred.
• Willingness to travel within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Train employees in IES Communications software systems and processes.
• Assess training needs and measure training effectiveness.
• Develop classroom and eLearning training materials.
• Provide one-on-one training as needed and refresher sessions.
• Ensure accurate reporting and communicate training standards.
• Collaborate with Training, Process and IT to improve materials.
• Deliver training on new features and maintain system access knowledge.
