Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communication, Business, or related field.
• Professional training certifications strongly preferred (ATD Master Trainer, CPTM).
• 5+ years in a training, facilitation, or coaching role in commercial/retail/technical industries.
• Experience training on products or systems with hands-on components.
• Familiarity with STIHL’s product categories or dealer networks.
• Proven success in delivering high-impact instruction to adult learners.
• Up to 25% travel by air.
• Strong facilitation and public speaking skills for technical and commercial audiences.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms and classroom technologies.
• Ability to adapt instructional techniques to diverse learner needs.
• Basic proficiency with training software (PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
• Highly relational, strong interpersonal and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for STIHL commercial teams, dealers, and channel partners.
• Deliver engaging, brand-aligned instruction on product knowledge, sales strategies, and customer engagement.
• Partner with instructional designers to enhance existing training programs based on learner feedback.
• Coach field reps and trainers to elevate facilitation techniques.
• Assess learner performance and gather feedback to identify improvements.
• Represent STIHL values and culture in every learning interaction.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
