Job summary

Dept of Corrections - Central Admin is seeking a Training & Development Coordinator Senior to design, develop, and deliver training for supervisory and management staff. Telework eligibility will be considered based on policy and operational needs, with occasional travel to additional training locations to support programs.

Responsibilities include evaluating curricula to align with agency practices and ensuring effective in-person and virtual delivery of training.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of correctional practices and leadership paradigms.
• Strong adult learning theory and effective facilitation skills.
• Experience designing, developing, and delivering training.
• Proficient with computer software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers training and organizational services to Department of Corrections’ supervisory and management personnel.
• Evaluates training curriculum and training needs and aligns with agency business practices.
• Telework eligibility determined per agency policy; may travel to additional training locations to support programs.
