Job summary

South Carolina Department of Corrections is seeking a Lead Curriculum Developer and Senior Technical Resource to guide instructional design, convert agency lesson plans to ITIP and approved standards, and supervise staff.

The role advises agency leadership and instructors on training needs, curriculum effectiveness, assessments, and instructional methods. Eight-week basic training is required upon hire; a bachelor's degree with four years of related experience is minimum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four years of professional experience in curriculum development or instructional design.
• Experience applying ITIP and ADDIE methodologies.
• Ability to lead curriculum projects and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum development and QA processes for instructional design standards.
• Advise leadership, instructors, and SMEs on training needs, curriculum effectiveness, assessment, and instructional methods.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
• Participate in workgroups, accreditation activities, and staff development initiatives.
• Demonstrate advanced interpersonal verbal and written skills.
