Responsibilities

• Supervises and reviews work of Correctional Counselors I or trainees in a reception center or institution.
• Instructs and assists with in-service training programs and evaluates staff performance.
• Counsels with and assists Correctional Counselors I on difficult case problems.
• Integrates casework services with other disciplines on a clinic team in a diagnostic center.
• Coordinates work with the Department of Corrections and external agencies; directs group activities.
