Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks an experienced Training Materials Designer to translate gaps into targeted learning solutions across online, in-person, and hybrid formats. You will develop a comprehensive range of materials, including instructor-led sessions, microlearning modules, and on-the-job programs, under supervision.

Applicants should have a strong background in instructional systems, ADDIE, and adult learning theories, with experience in technical training and SCORM standards.

Qualifications

• Experience designing learning materials for technical disciplines
• Experience developing technology-based learning products
• Experience creating formative and summative evaluations
• Ability to travel 10% of the time

Responsibilities

• Conduct gap analyses and translate findings into targeted training tasks
• Design and develop training products for online, in-person, hybrid formats
• Develop training materials including instructor-led sessions and microlearning
• Write technical and creative documentation and CDRLs
• Stay current with learning theory and industry standards
• Evaluate contractors or vendors responsible for courseware
• Design curricula conforming to SCORM standards
• Apply adult learning theories to instructional design
