Job summary

Northrop Grumman is hiring a Technical Services Engineer/Principal Engineer (Dual Level) to develop and evaluate training systems for USAF. You’ll collaborate with SMEs to design SCORM-compliant materials across multiple modalities and ensure adherence to ADDIE and adult learning principles.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, a Secret clearance, and travel up to 10%. Salary ranges reflect both Level 2 and Level 3 roles, with comprehensive benefits and relocation support possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ISD/related field and 2 years of experience; master's allows 0 years.
• Experience applying ADDIE and adult learning theories in technical training.
• Experience creating SCORM-compliant courseware and evaluations.
• Knowledge of Kirkpatrick 4 levels and Phillips 5 levels of evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct gap analyses and translate findings into training tasks.
• Design training products for online, in-person, hybrid formats.
• Develop instructor-led sessions, microlearning, online courses, and on-the-job programs.
• Write training CDRLs and maintain technical documentation.
• Stay current with learning theory and industry standards.
