Job summary

McClure is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer (Senior PE) to lead our Transportation team on high-visibility projects. You will mentor junior engineers, guide design efforts, and drive quality through QA/QC and strong client collaboration.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, innovation, and the ability to manage team delivery, budgets, and milestones while communicating complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• PTOE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the engineering team on transportation projects to deliver high-quality designs.
• Oversee design reviews and QA/QC processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers, and other discipline engineers.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovative solutions.
