McClure is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer (Senior PE) to lead a growing Transportation team in Boston. You will manage complex, visible projects, mentor junior engineers, and drive high-quality deliverables.

The role demands strong leadership, technical excellence, and the ability to coordinate across disciplines. The position emphasizes developing team capabilities, innovating processes, and engaging with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering.
• Proven track record of mentoring and developing junior team members.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
• PTOE certification is a plus.
• General computer knowledge (Excel, Word, PDF).

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery and mentor team members to meet McClure’s standards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Engineers during design and review.
• Lead QA/QC processes and advise on team-wide changes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship through knowledge transfer.
• Document, review, and implement lessons learned from projects.
• Engage in client meetings and proactively communicate complex issues.
