Job summary

McClure is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to lead complex transportation projects and mentor junior staff. You will guide design teams, ensure QA/QC on reports and plans, and engage with clients to deliver high-quality solutions.

Candidates should hold a PE license with 5+ years in civil/traffic engineering; PTOE certification is a plus. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PDFs is expected. This role is full-time and on-site in the transportation group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in civil/traffic engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• PTOE certification is a plus.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, and PDFs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project delivery team by delegating technical tasks and coaching team members.
• Lead QA/QC processes for reports, plans and specifications and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Engineers to identify milestones and dependencies.
• Independently manage design schedules, budgets, and staffing while communicating with the Project Manager.
