Job summary

Airbus US Space & Defense, Inc. is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to support programmatic compliance needs. The role involves providing guidance for export and import transactions, maintaining compliance records, and assisting in training on export regulations.

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of experience in international trade compliance, preferably in a defense context. Communication skills in Spanish are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in international trade compliance.
• Experience with a defense-related company in an export control or compliance position is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide trade compliance guidance for transactions involving proposed exports and imports.
• Maintain records in accordance with policy and regulations.

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Solution-oriented issue spotting

Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and OFAC regulations

Proficient in using Microsoft Office

Conversational Spanish proficiency

Education

Bachelor's Degree in international business, management, or engineering
