Job summary

Millennium Space Systems Company, a Boeing subsidiary, seeks a Global Trade Controls Specialist to reinforce our export/import compliance program. You will work with the GTC manager and Boeing counterparts on classifications, supplier reviews, and process improvements for U.S.

export controls. The role requires ITAR/EAR expertise, at least 5 years in this field, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years related work experience (export/import controls, supplier reviews).
• Knowledge of ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Background in import/export regulations, compliance, classifications, licensing and exemptions, commodity jurisdiction requests and Technology Control Plans.
• Strong organizational, communication and computer skills.
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier requests, DPS, visitor approvals and data reviews.
• Perform jurisdiction, product classification and HTS/Schedule B determinations for products, software and related tech.
• Consult with internal/external partners to ensure compliant handling of international efforts.
• Communicate procedural changes via email, training and other channels.
• Support audits from DoS/DoC with data gathering and corrective actions; act as SME and coach others.
