Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff in Modeling & Simulation within the TAPD division. The role focuses on tracking performance, multi-INT sensor systems, and advanced architectures across space, air, maritime, and ground domains.

You will participate in modeling, simulation, and analysis projects with a broad cross‑functional team. Applicants should have a STEM degree, 4+ years leading technical teams, and a current TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related discipline.
• 4+ years of professional experience leading technical teams and coordinating complex modeling tasks.
• Knowledge of tracking algorithms, multi-target tracking, and tracking performance assessment.
• Willingness to travel and/or work off-hours to support customer needs.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship required to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform modeling and analysis studies for complex system-of-systems architectures with emphasis on tracking performance optimization.
• Evaluate multi-domain architectures and sensor components across space, air, maritime, and ground domains.
• Analyze tracking scenarios across space objects, airborne targets, maritime vessels, and ground entities.
• Work on multi-INT sensor systems including radar, EO/IR, SIGINT, and GEOINT technologies.
• Conduct trade-space analyses to balance performance requirements and identify architectural optimizations.
• Develop performance metrics and data visualizations to communicate results.
• Design, develop, and implement tracking algorithms and data fusion methods.
• Create simulation tools and models for concept exploration and technology assessment.
