Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Section Manager for TAPD in Huntsville to lead modeling, simulation, and analysis of space, ground, and EW systems. You will balance technical contributions with project management and talent development.

Responsibilities include directing MS&A initiatives, coordinating with program offices, and mentoring staff to deliver rigorous analyses and high-quality briefings in a dynamic national-security context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited school.
• 6 years of progressively more responsible engineering experience.
• Experience with tracking architectures, sensing phenomenology and various nominal and contested scenario concepts.
• Experience Python, C++ or other programming languages.
• Current TS/SCI Clearance.
• It would be impressive to have an advanced STEM degree.
• Experience as a technical/project lead in end-to-end analyses of mission concepts.

Responsibilities

• Translate program office needs into modeling, simulation, and analysis project plans.
• Initiate collaboration opportunities across offices to develop innovative solutions.
• Develop modeling and simulation products to answer questions on tracking performance.
• Develop and present briefings and reports for program offices and customers.
• Use and contribute to in-house and government/off-the-shelf tools and analysis products.
• Provide day-to-day technical guidance and oversee section work quality.
