Job summary

Netspend is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager with 10+ years to lead cross-team engineering programs built on Java. You will enable delivery from scoping through launch, partnering with engineering managers and architects to balance constraints and risk.

You will coach teams on Agile, manage dependencies, and communicate status to executives. The role combines engineering depth with delivery leadership in a fintech context.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software delivery, with at least 5 years in TPM roles.
• Experience enabling large programs across 3+ engineering teams.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Enable large, multi-quarter programs spanning several engineering teams.
• Build integrated program plans with milestones and dependencies.
• Facilitate the program operating rhythm: planning, standups, status reporting, release readiness.
• Coach teams on Agile (Scrum/Kanban) practices.
• Engage with engineers on system design and APIs; challenge estimates.
• Partner with architects on debt, scalability, migration plans, risk decisions.
• Review design documents and translate constraints into scope and risk.
• Work with DevOps and QA on CI/CD, release management and quality gates.
• Identify risks and blockers early; maintain RAID log.
• Communicate program status to engineering leaders, product, and executives.
• Define and track delivery metrics; manage scope and budgets.
• Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional partners.
