Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to oversee high-visibility planning programs that span engineering, product, and analytics. You will help scale processes as product lines grow, align cross-functional teams, and drive change initiatives with customer and merchant outcomes in mind.

You will design and implement data-driven frameworks, manage dependencies, and communicate strategic updates to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of proven experience managing programs, processes, and change management in a technology-focused environment.
• Strong technical background with a deep understanding of software development processes.
• Organized and strategic approach to collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Obsesses over getting the details right but knows how to make tradeoff decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management with Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, and other cross-functional teams.
• Track record of successfully implementing frameworks at scale and building relationships in a remote friendly culture.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consulting skills.
• Passion and drive to change consumer finance for the better.
• Prior experience in FinTech, Payments or Commerce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive complex, multi-disciplinary, and highly visible transformation & operational programs.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment on strategy and priorities.
• Implement lean processes and improve ways of working to realize value from planning.
• Establish data-driven frameworks to view portfolio performance against OKRs.
• Develop communication strategies to ensure critical information flows across the organization.
• Plan change requirements, identify risks, manage dependencies, and establish tools.
• Identify needs, experiment with ideas to address inefficiencies and promote accountability.
