Job summary

Motional is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead release planning and cross‑functional collaboration across autonomy, software, hardware, and operations teams. You will drive alignment, track release metrics, and remove blockers in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

The role requires 5+ years managing complex systems, experience with CI, FW/SW/HW configurations, and strong communication across time zones. Travel up to 10% is expected, with offices in Pittsburgh or Las Vegas.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with CI and automated SW testing.
• Experience managing FW, SW, and HW configurations.
• Minimum 5 years in complex systems (autonomous vehicles, ADAS, robotics).
• Experience working across teams resolving competing priorities and dependencies.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and stakeholder messaging.

Responsibilities

• Drive alignment across stakeholder teams to track planned software and hardware releases.
• Actively manage execution of release activities, tracking progress against key release metrics and removing blockers.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to configure and improve targeted configurations end-to-end.
• Establish and maintain release calendars, notes, and documentation for transparent communication with engineering and executives.
• Set priorities and coordinate between multiple engineering and operations teams and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to define and track key organizational objectives.
• Proactively identify, manage, and report risks and issues.
