Job summary

Mission Produce, Inc. in Oxnard, CA, is seeking a senior total rewards leader to design, administer, and govern compensation, benefits, and performance programs across multi-state U.S.

operations. The role owns health and welfare plans, 401(k), salary-band design, merit cycles, incentive programs, and performance review processes, partnering with Finance, Payroll, and HR leadership to ensure compliant, competitive programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance or related field.
• Must be bilingual in Spanish.
• 8+ years in compensation and benefits or total rewards.
• Experience supporting multi-state, multi-site workforce.
• Knowledge of ERISA, ACA, FLSA and multi-state compliance.
• Experience leading merit cycles and incentive plans.
• Experience owning performance review processes.
• Strong analytical skills with benchmarking tool experience.
• HRIS experience; Workday preferred.
• CCP/CEBS/SHRM-CP/SCP certification a plus.
• Excellent communication of complex concepts across a multi-state org.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, administration, and vendor management of health and welfare plans.
• Own all leave of absence administration under federal, state, and local laws.
• Own the 401(k) plan including vendor management and education.
• Own compensation structure, salary bands, job leveling, and market pricing.
• Lead the annual merit increase process with budget modeling and guidance.
• Own incentive plan design and administration including bonuses.
• Own the year-end performance review process and communications.
• Ensure compliance with multi-state wage, ERISA, ACA, and pay equity rules.
• Manage broker, carrier, and vendor relationships for benefits and retirement.
• Partner with Finance and Payroll on total rewards budgeting and forecasting.
• Provide compensation analysis for hires, promotions, and market adjustments.
• Support compensation harmonization during acquisitions.
