Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. seeks a Tooling Supervisor to lead a team of Tooling Engineers, Toolmakers, and Metrology Specialists in developing robust production tooling solutions for aerospace projects.

You will oversee tooling lifecycle from concept to production release, implement lean practices, drive safety and quality improvements, and manage SOWs and supplier relationships to meet schedule commitments.

Qualifications

• Aerospace tooling design and lifecycle knowledge required.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Tooling Engineers, Toolmakers, and Metrology Specialists.
• Manage tooling projects from concept through production release.
• Drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve safety, quality and productivity.
• Oversee tooling design reviews and supplier performance.
