Job summary

Honda South Carolina Manufacturing seeks an experienced tool engineering professional to manage and improve production line productivity and quality related to cutting tool designs, aiming for SEQDCM improvements.

You will lead tool budgets, coordinate engineering support for tooling problems, develop tools and holders, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, cost, and on-time delivery across new models and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related equivalent experience.
• 2-8 years of engineering experience related to tooling.
• Experience with SEQDCM and manufacturing tooling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead tool budgeting, cost control, and analysis.
• Coordinate engineering support for tooling issues to meet quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Develop and maintain tools, tool drawings, and holders.
• Coordinate tool and process development for new models and technology.
• Provide technical support for tool setup and regrind processes.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and communicate tool reports to diverse audiences.
