Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to maintain tooling and support quality production in a fast-paced environment in Georgia. You will manage tool life, set-up procedures, and communicate issues to sustain a smooth manufacturing flow.

Responsibilities include performing checks, adhering to safety and quality standards, and collaborating with engineers and vendors to implement improvements. Overtime and relocation support may be offered in this role.

Qualifications

• 2~4 years of CNC Machining (Computer Numerical Control) experience or equivalent tooling experience
• Must understand metric measuring system

Responsibilities

• Conduct checks and apply actions per plant policies to ensure Safety, Environmental, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Morale
• Maintain tooling per process requirements using quality control tables and setup procedures
• Monitor conditions and react to prevent negative production impact
• Communicate shift results and use PDCA to drive improvements
• Understand tools, materials and equipment to prevent tooling-related issues
• Contain/repair nonconforming products to prevent outflow from poor tooling
• Collaborate with line engineers, tool department and vendors to improve processes
• Participate in Monozukuri and loss elimination initiatives
