Job summary

Amsted Automotive is seeking a hands-on Tooling Supervisor to lead a skilled team, oversee preventive maintenance, and drive quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role emphasizes Tool & Die experience and strong problem-solving skills within a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will manage tool room activities, ensure IATF16949/ISO 14001 compliance, and collaborate with the Program Manager and General Production Supervisor to optimize stamping operations,

Qualifications

• Proficiency in blueprint GD&T interpretation of dies and part prints.
• Ability to read CMM or gauging data and direct adjustments for part quality.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Maintain education matrices and records demonstrating IATF-related compliance.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing using 5S and Kaizen principles.
• Lead preventive maintenance scheduling in Tool Room and ensure safety standards.
