Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. is seeking an engineering professional in Ohio to manage and improve production line productivity related to cutting tool designs. You will lead budgets, coordinate troubleshooting, and support tool development for new models, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

Minimum 2–8 years in equipment engineering and a Bachelor’s in Engineering are required. Strong math, communication, and CAD skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical).
• 2-8 years of experience in equipment engineering.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCad 2D & 3D, Solidworks.
• Presenting, written communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to convey manufacturing concepts, perform advanced math, read designs, manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead tool budget creation, control, and analysis to evaluate cutting tool budget.
• Coordinate engineering support troubleshooting tooling problems to meet quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Develop and maintain tools, tool drawings and holders.
• Coordinate tool analysis and report results for continuous improvement.
• Support tool development for new models and technology implementations.
• Provide technical support for internal tool setup and regrind processes.
• Lead line-side trial runs during tool tests to ensure quality and delivery.
• Communicate and present issues and tool reports to diverse audiences.
• Work with production, new model, machining, and product development teams for balanced processing.
