Job summary
Nextpower Inc in California is seeking a Lead Tool Technician Mechanic to lead installation tooling, field support, and maintenance across customer sites. You will oversee planning, commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of tooling systems, translating technical information into practical field actions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Construction Management, Maintenance Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in installation tooling, construction equipment, field service, or related environment.
- Ability to read and apply schematics and technical documentation.
- Willingness to travel up to 100% and work non-standard hours when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Act as senior technical resource for installation tooling and field deployment activities.
- Plan, schedule, and execute tool workshops, calibration, relocation, and demobilization.
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and controls problems.
- Translate schematics and service documentation into practical field instructions.
