Job summary

Radiant in El Segundo, CA seeks a Senior Tooling Engineer to partner with design and manufacturing teams on new production equipment for our microreactor system. You will design, analyze, and fabricate tooling for assembling complex components and enabling fueling operations on-site at the factory.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical engineering degree, 4+ years of CAD-based design experience, and strong GD&T know-how. Remote options are not indicated; candidates should be ready for on-site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in mechanical equipment design and fabrication of multi-component assemblies in CAD.
• Solid GD&T knowledge applied to fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities

• Partner with design and manufacturing engineers to develop production equipment for fabricating and assembling complex mechanisms.
• Design, analyze, and fabricate equipment enabling semi-remote fueling/defueling operations.
• Identify and qualify suppliers for components and fabrication.
