Job summary

Antares is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineering professional to own the design, development, and deployment of tooling and ground support equipment for mass-produced microreactors. You will work with manufacturing, test, and deployment teams to translate needs into practical solutions and create detailed CAD drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a mechanical engineering field.
• 3+ years designing mechanical hardware, fixtures, or tooling.
• 3D CAD skills; Siemens NX experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own tooling design from concept to fabrication and deployment.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, test, and deployment teams to define tooling needs.
• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and drawings for fixtures and handling equipment.
• Develop fixtures and test stands for development and qualification hardware.
• Work hands-on with machinists, welders, and suppliers to fabricate tooling.
• Lead initial on-site use of new tooling and iterate based on feedback.
