Job summary
Radiant is seeking a Senior Tooling Engineer to collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to develop and innovate production equipment for the factory that will mass produce, fuel, and refuel our microreactor system. The role anchors on-site at El Segundo HQ and focuses on fabricating complex mechanisms for assembly.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or related engineering discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical equipment design and fabrication of multi-component assemblies in CAD (NX or similar).
- Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) with experience applying it to fabrication drawings.
Responsibilities
- Partner with design and manufacturing engineers to develop production equipment for fabricating and assembling complex mechanisms and structures.
- Design, analyze, and fabricate equipment enabling semi-remote fueling/defueling of the reactor.
- Identify and develop appropriate suppliers for components and fabrication.
