Job summary

Radiant Industries in El Segundo seeks a Senior Equipment Engineer to collaborate with design engineers and manufacturing teams in innovating production equipment for their nuclear microreactor system. This role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline and 4+ years of design experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical equipment design and fabrication.
• Solid understanding of GD&T with experience applying it to fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative production equipment for fabricating and assembling mechanisms.
• Design and fabricate equipment for semi-remote operations.
• Identify and develop suppliers for components.

Skills

Mechanical equipment design and fabrication

Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)

CAD software proficiency (NX or similar)

Analytical methods

Self-motivated with strong communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or related engineering discipline
