Job summary

Concord sits at the center of the credit market ecosystem, providing loan servicing, backup servicing, and capital markets administration for specialty lenders and asset managers. The Manager, Titles & Insurance Operations leads title processing, Total Loss, and GAP insurance claims, ensuring compliance with state regulations and investor requirements.

Responsibilities include overseeing Title Operations, Total Loss and GAP workflows, people leadership, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in auto finance, loan servicing, or title/lien operations, including 2+ years in management.
• Working knowledge of state DMV title/lien processes and ELT systems.
• Experience with GAP or similar insurance claims processing.
• Strong understanding of auto lending compliance (state title/lien law, UCC filings, consumer finance regulations).
• Proven people-management skills: hiring, coaching, performance management.
• Proficiency with loan servicing platforms and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Title Operations lifecycle, including repossession titles, lien recording, perfection, releases, duplicates, and out-of-state transfers.
• Ensure DMV compliance and internal SLAs.
• Resolve aged/exception files and liaise with DMVs and title vendors.
• Partner with Repossession, Payoff, Legal on repossessions and total losses.
• Oversee Total Loss and GAP insurance claims processes from notification to settlement.
• Maintain audit-ready records and report status to leadership and investors.
• Lead People & Process, hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Drive process improvements and automation to cut cycle time and errors.
• Present operational metrics to senior leadership.
• Ensure SOPs and cross-training coverage.
• Escalate high-risk cases and ensure regulatory compliance.
