Job summary

Intuitive Machines, based in Houston, TX, seeks a Sr. Labor Compliance Specialist within Finance to own timekeeping and labor-charging compliance.

The role interfaces with Payroll, HR, Contracts, and leadership, ensuring accurate time data before payroll deadlines while maintaining audit-ready documentation. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in timekeeping/compliance, government contracting experience, knowledge of FAR/DCAA, and strong Excel/ERP skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Human Resources.
Five+ years of timekeeping compliance, labor accounting, or related experience.
Experience auditing timekeeping in government contracting environments.
Knowledge of FAR cost principles and DCAA audit practices.
Experience reviewing timekeeping data and resolving payroll-related exceptions.
Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/HRIS systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Own and administer timekeeping and labor-charging compliance across programs and locations.
Coordinate with Payroll, HR, Finance, and leaders to resolve timekeeping discrepancies.
Develop dashboards and reports on compliance metrics and audit readiness.
Maintain audit-ready records and support internal/external audits.
Deliver practical training on timekeeping practices and escalation procedures.
Support integration of timekeeping processes during acquisitions and system changes.
