Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI with a polygraph.
• 16 years of combined experience and education as a proxy for qualification.
• Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 requirements.
• Experience configuring/troubleshooting boundary protection appliances (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Forcepoint).
• Experience with Juniper and Cisco routers/switches.
• Familiarity with OSPF, BGP, VPNs, VRF, MPLS.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support WAN/LAN networks including OSPF, BGP, VRF, VLAN, VRRP, MPLS.
• Monitor network performance and test/configure hardware and software.
• Assess user requests and advise on optimal technical approaches.
• Perform tier 3 troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Prepare procedures for restoring network performance.
• Provide fault and performance management.
• Coordinate with configuration management and implementation teams.
• Analyze network characteristics and recommend changes.
• Maintain site network configurations and OS/software.
