Job summary

ARCO a Family of Construction Companies seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead and manage complex construction projects from post-award to completion. You will oversee scheduling, team organization, subcontractor coordination, and on-site operations to ensure safety, quality, and profitability.

Responsibilities include directing all aspects of the project, coordinating with owners, architects, and engineers, and maintaining daily progress and cost records.

Qualifications

• 5-25+ years of construction experience, with at least 5 as a lead superintendent on quick turnaround entertainment or high-end commercial builds, TIs, or adaptive reuse projects.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling programs.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet physical demands: standing/walking long periods, uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Attend preplanning meetings to receive project details.
• Assist in preparing project schedules, organization structure, staffing, and equipment needs.
• Direct and control the construction project to meet specs and schedule.
• Coordinate subcontractors to integrate with schedules and progress.
• Inform supervisors and subcontractors of schedule changes promptly.
• Prepare progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Review and approve requisitions, PO's, invoices and significant reports.
