Job summary

ARCO a Family of Construction Companies seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on complex projects. You will manage day‑to‑day construction activities from the field, ensuring schedule adherence, cost control, and safety compliance across site teams.

With 5–25+ years in construction, you will coordinate subcontractors, review shop drawings, and report progress to project leadership. This is a full‑time, on‑site role with travel on many projects.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years as a project lead Superintendent
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling programs
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver license
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing/walking, lifting up to 50 pounds)

Responsibilities

• Attend preconstruction information gathering and scheduling
• Develop construction activity sequences and manpower/equipment plans
• Direct total construction to meet specs, schedule, and budget
• Coordinate subcontractors and align with project schedules
• Prepare progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs
• Communicate progress to owner/architect representatives
• Maintain daily project diary documenting key events and decisions
• Enforce safety program across the project
