ARCO is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to lead high-end finish commercial and entertainment TI projects across the United States. You will manage field operations, safety, schedule, and budgets while coordinating with subcontractors and project teams from day one.

The ideal candidate has 5–15+ years of experience, strong leadership, and a willingness to travel nationwide. This long-term role offers comprehensive benefits and the chance to contribute to award-winning projects with ARCO.

Qualifications

• 5-25+ years of construction experience, with at least 5 years as lead superintendent on fast-turnaround TI or high-end builds.
• Willing to travel nationally.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook; scheduling programs experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review meetings for preplanning details.
• Prepare construction schedules, staffing plans, and equipment needs.
• Direct and control the project to meet specs and schedule while optimizing profit.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to integrate with schedules and progress.
• Inform supervisors and subcontractors of schedule changes promptly.
• Review progress, cost reports, and requisitions for accuracy.
• Collaborate with owner representatives and architects in a professional manner.
• Hold site meetings and report progress to project manager and regional manager.
• Maintain a daily diary recording significant project facts and approvals.
• Adhere to the company safety program across all phases.
• Organize people, tools, and equipment to achieve results.
• Demonstrate leadership and conflict resolution in challenging situations.
