Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking an experienced risk professional to lead third-party risk governance and enterprise risk initiatives in a dynamic environment. You will coordinate risk assessments, issue management, and governance reviews while partnering with business units to ensure timely, accurate risk reporting.

With a background in Corporate Risk Management, you will translate complex risk concepts into actionable processes, maintain governance documentation, and support leadership discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management or related field.
• “7+ years” of experience in Corporate/Operational Risk or related areas.
• Experience applying risk management requirements in first-line business functions.
• Knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead TPMO risk governance activities and reporting.
• Coordinate risk assessments, issue management, and governance reviews.
• Maintain risk dashboards, controls, and escalation pathways.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely risk data delivery.
• Support leadership with governance materials for management forums.
