Northern Trust Corp is seeking a seasoned Third Party Risk Management professional to join the TPMO. You will lead risk framework execution, partner with lines of business, and drive risk identification, measurement, and reporting for complex vendor relationships.

The role emphasizes collaboration across 2LOD, business units, and offshore teams, with a focus on governance, control design, and ongoing risk monitoring in a regulated US environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale risk or compliance initiatives.
• Expertise in third-party risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with tools such as Coupa, ServiceNow, Cybeta or similar.
• Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence activities across multiple teams and across business units.

Responsabilités

• Track program throughput across third party lifecycle elements (Planning, IRQs, DDQs, Ongoing Monitoring, Contracting, Termination).
• Design and periodically review program artifacts, risk methodologies, service categories and reporting thresholds.
• Guide business partners through stages of the third party lifecycle to ensure quality program execution.
• Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement across the TPRM lifecycle (onboarding, due diligence, monitoring, offboarding).
• Engage with risk domain SMEs, vendors and vendor relationship managers.
• Use dashboards and KRIs to monitor third-party risk posture and report progress to boards.
