Job summary

Northern Trust Corp. seeks an experienced professional to support delivery of its Information Security and Technology Risk Program. This role identifies cybersecurity risks, leads risk reduction, performs risk assessments, and develops remediation plans across enterprise technologies.

The candidate will report findings to management, develop risk metrics, and mentor junior team members. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Professional certification such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP (or equivalent).
• Advanced IT-related degree is a plus.
• Experience in risk assessments within highly regulated financial services.

Responsibilities

• Identify emerging technology and cybersecurity risks and lead risk reduction.
• Review and challenge significant technology strategies and architectures.
• Conduct technology and cybersecurity risk assessments, tests, and drills.
• Develop testing tools and risk assessment frameworks for enterprise use.
• Define remediation action plans and document results for management.
