Intel is seeking a Senior Thin Film Metrology Engineer to support 18A technology in the Thin Film Metrology area. You will drive metrology execution, develop recipes, qualify processes, own tools, and solve complex yield issues while partnering with fab, process, and TD teams to ramp and sustain production.

The role requires collaboration with Yield, TD, Process Integration, and Fab module teams to ensure readiness and continuous improvement across global HVM fabs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering/science field (Chemical Eng., Materials Science, EE, Mechanical Eng., Physics).
• 4+ years of experience in thin film metrology techniques and HV manufacturing.
• 4+ years in advanced-node semiconductor manufacturing (development or high-volume).
• Working knowledge of data analysis and statistics; exposure to machine learning is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform detailed data analysis to identify root causes of parametric mismatches and OCD model integrity.
• Provide technical guidance on thin film process monitoring, tool matching, and metrology optimization.
• Lead/participate in continuous improvement projects to improve yield and product quality.
• Provide expertise on process flow segments and control all aspects of analysis related to these areas.
• Lead/participate in multi-area problem solving teams to troubleshoot yield problems.
• Design and implement metrology models to deliver fast, precise feedback on product integrity.
