Job summary

Intel Corporation in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Yield System Development Engineer with a software emphasis to optimize metrology and yield systems for development and manufacturing. You will collaborate with equipment development, operations, automation, and manufacturing teams to enhance yield, reliability, and product integrity.

The role involves applying statistics, ML/AI, and data analysis to extract insights from large data sources, plus developing tools to support high-volume data analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in Engineering or Science disciplines or Master's degree or higher.
• Experience with software coding (Python, C#/.NET, HTML, JavaScript) with emphasis in ML/AI.
• Experience with statistical analysis and analytical methods.
• 1+ years in an advanced manufacturing environment (semiconductor device fabrication, packaging, or assembly, aerospace, pharmaceuticals).
• At least two of: Git, SQL proficiency, or 2+ years maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform statistical analysis and develop visualizations to construct accurate process development roadmaps.
• Develop methods and systems to analyze diverse big data sources, leading to yield modeling and process roadmap definition.
• Develop and maintain systems that enable faster interpretation of fab process, defect, and electrical data to drive process changes for yield enhancement.
• Apply statistics, machine learning, and coding techniques to extract insights from large volumes of data.
• Transform experimental and manufacturing data into yield improvement actions.
• Ensure manufacturability over process and product design through thorough analysis.
• Execute new product introductions and participate in design of experiments.
• Develop tools and algorithms for high-volume data analysis to identify yield limiters.
• Harden equipment systems to meet operational needs for leading-edge logic nodes.
• Develop AI/ML applications to improve patterning solutions and design efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data integrity and implement custom algorithms.
