Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks an Advanced Staff Thermal Systems Engineer to own system‑level architectures and execution. You will lead multi‑disciplinary teams including thermal analysis, mechanical design and electronics, coordinating with Program Management and clients.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, mentorship, and collaboration to advance engineering maturity and product development within Intergalactic’s aerospace group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering; 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience (thermal management preferred).
• Strong knowledge of aerospace disciplines: requirements mgmt, verification/validation, mechanical design, materials, modeling and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop program architecture and technical approach including thermal and controls analysis.
• Serve as technical lead coordinating activities across internal and external resources.
• Identify and manage technical risks with the Program Manager for successful execution.
• Manage technical requirements traceability, decomposition, derivation, and verification/validation.
• Allocate high-level requirements to internal groups and suppliers as applicable.
• Lead and mentor the engineering team and contribute to technical strategy.
• Research investments or technology changes to improve products and services.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers throughout design development.
• Review and approve prototype-to-production documentation.
• Provide engineering support to troubleshoot non-performing products.
