You will run CFD simulations with Flotherm/Icepak, test cooling performance, mentor others, and collaborate with mechanical engineers across cross-functional teams. The role focuses on air and liquid cooling, 3D MCAD modeling with Creo or NX, and data-driven optimization to deliver reliable, scalable cooling for Cisco’s switching, routing, and wireless

Formación

• Bachelor/Master/PhD in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering with related experience.
• 5+ years in design, simulation, and testing of thermal solutions for electronic devices.
• Experience with CFD tools and 3D MCAD modeling.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop thermal solutions (air or liquid cooling) for high-power ASIC systems.
• Run detailed CFD simulations to optimize thermal performance.
• Collaborate with engineers on system architectures and cooling.
• Perform thermal testing to validate models and simulations.
• Lead and mentor other thermal engineers in the group.
• Create test plans and report findings to the project team.
