GE Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Staff Thermal Systems Engineer to drive system-level architectures and execution for aerospace thermal management. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate with program management, and act as the primary technical contact for clients.

The role includes mentoring junior staff, shaping technical strategy, and proposing investments to improve products and services while ensuring rigorous design, testing, and documentation processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years in systems engineering.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary programs and teams.
• Knowledge of environmental controls, power, hydraulics, avionics.

Responsabilités

• Develop program architecture and technical approach for thermal systems.
• Serve as technical lead coordinating internal and external resources.
• Identify and manage technical risks with Program Manager.
• Manage requirements traceability and verification activities.
• Decompose high-level requirements into lower-level specs.
• Lead and mentor junior staff within engineering group.
• Research investments to improve products and services.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers during design development.
• Review and approve documentation transitioning prototypes to production.
• Provide engineering support to troubleshoot non-performing products.
