Job summary

BAC (Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc.) is seeking a Senior Engineer in Advanced Thermal Applications to serve as a key technical resource for thermal, fluid dynamics, and airflow analyses. You will define standards, perform complex analyses, and guide customers on heat rejection solutions.

Responsibilities include CFD site layout analysis, communicating results to stakeholders, and collaborating with Product Engineering, R&D, Applications, and Sales to align analytical methods with product

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.
• 5+ years of HVAC industry experience with airflow/thermal analyses.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and communicate results clearly.
• Experience collaborating with local, regional, and international teams.
• Experience with HVAC, evaporative cooling, or heat rejection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex thermal and fluid analyses to support heat rejection needs and site layout evaluations.
• Evaluate airflow distribution and thermal impacts due to layout, wind, and surroundings.
• Communicate analysis results to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with CFD analysis of site layouts and interpret results for customers.
• Establish documentation and reporting standards for traceability and consistency.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, R&D, Applications, and Sales to align analytical approaches.
