Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company (BAC) is seeking a Thermal Engineer to develop thermal models for global product lines and to support NPI, certification, and continuous improvement efforts.

The role requires a strong background in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer, with extensive experience in numerical modeling, DOE methods, and technical documentation. Occasional travel to Europe and Asia is expected, with a standard 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering; Masters preferred.
• Experience in thermal modeling for heat rejection equipment and cooling systems.
• Strong programming and documentation skills for modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop thermal performance models and rating programs.
• Support New Product Introduction with prototype testing and data reduction.
• Maintain and improve thermal certification processes with third party testers.
• Provide analysis and recommendations to improve thermal performance.
• Communicate results through reports and presentations.
