Blue Origin is seeking a Thermal Engineer to join the Lunar Core Components Heat Transfer team. You will apply your expertise to thermal analysis for lunar vehicle architectures, driving designs through build, test, and verification.

The role requires 5+ years in thermal engineering, strong heat transfer knowledge, and experience with spacecraft hardware. Collaboration across functions and a passion for safe human spaceflight are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 5+ years of thermal engineering experience.
• Strong grasp of heat transfer and fluid system fundamentals.
• Familiarity with heat exchangers, cold plates, radiators, and other spacecraft hardware.
• Experience designing, sizing, building, and/or testing hardware.
• Basic experience with CAD software; preferably Creo.
• Experience with CFD simulation methods for component-level analysis.
• Experience with thermal analysis software tools such as Thermal Desktop, FloCAD, MATLAB, Python scripting, CFD++, Ansys Fluent.
• Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional teams to deliver results.
