Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc. in Winona, MN seeks an ICT/functional Test Operator to perform Go/No Go testing on electronic assemblies and PCBs using a variety of test instruments.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, defect identification, and adherence to quality procedures. The position requires 4+ years of advanced electronic test experience, ability to read schematics, use DMMs, oscilloscopes, and power supplies, and a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of advanced electronic test experience.
• Ability to use hand tools and general test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscope, power supplies).
• Read and interpret schematics, drawings and assembly prints for electronics testing.
• Adhere to IPC quality standards and develop strong quality orientation.

Responsibilities

• Sets up test equipment and understands test/assembly processes for boards or systems.
• Operates test equipment and records failure parameters in the Quality Management System (PFS).
• Identifies component types and reads values of ICs, resistors, capacitors, etc.
• Maintains records of tested units and uses SPC charts for data tracking.
• Lead and mentor other Test Operators and suggest test procedure improvements.
