Job summary

Benchmark in Minnesota: Winona site seeks a Test Operator to perform ICT and functional Go/No Go testing on boards and products using test equipment and procedures. You will set up gear, record results in our Quality Management System, read schematics, identify defects, and ensure items meet specifications.

Responsibilities include configuring equipment, maintaining records, supporting continuous improvement, and mentoring teammates. Shift 2; full-time with overtime; safety-sensitive position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to use hand tools and general test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscope, power supplies).
• Demonstrate basic knowledge operating DMMs to verify opens/shorts/resistance/diode checks.

Responsibilities

• Sets up test equipment; understands test and assembly processes for boards or systems tested.
• Operates test equipment and records failure parameters in the Quality Management System (PFS).
• Identifies component types and reads values of ICs, resistors, capacitors, etc.
• Follows procedures to adjust frequency/voltage and confirms items meet requirements.
• Maintains records of tested units and uses SPC charts.
• Configure and operate test equipment; interpret basic test results.
• Lead and mentor other Test Operators.
